The Neptune is a 200 GPD seven (7) stage RO/DI (Reverse Osmosis/De-Ionizing) reef keeping system, featuring an automatic shut-off valve and float valve for a unique hands-free, fully automated water making system. You will also receive our push-in, self-piercing supply valve, two in-line ball valves, a drain saddle, filter wrench, complete instructions with illustrations, and all the tubing you will need. This is one incredible system that is so large and stable (27 pounds dry, 15.5" tall, 15" wide, and 12" deep) that it doesn't need mounting, and may even fit under a kitchen counter or store display. The Neptune has three DI stages. We install full size color changing cartridges. In stage five we install a single anion bed, in stage six we install a single cation bed, in stage seven we install a mixed DI bed. All of the DI cartridges change color as they are used up. Yes, this is the same set up found in semiconductor rinsing operations. This unit is designed to provide Reefkeepers with ultra pure water, no ammonia, or silicate sand. You get -0- TDS. You have a full-scale high production water purification system that is capable of producing the water necessary to sustain very large and / or numerous aquatic systems. Or in the case of a laboratory lots of ultra clean water.

Stage 1

. .Heavy duty, standard industry size 10 Micron Poly Pro sediment filter.

Stage 2

. .5 Micron acid washed* Gem coconut carbon block filter, removing 98-99% of chlorine.

Stage 3

. .1 Micron acid washed* Gem coconut carbon block filter, that removes the remaining chemicals and chlorine. This filter is rated for 9,000 gallons and allows only 1ppm (Parts Per Million) chlorine per gallon.

Stage 4

. .Two 100 GPD or Two 75 GPD FilmTec membranes**(refer to difference in membranes)

. .Full size cation DI catridge color changing
